Dream Girl

I got that this feeling that
my dreams'll always be
to have you near.
You're my (dream),
you're my (dream girl).

(Yes, yes)
(Get...wet)
(Yes).
(Get...wet)
(Yes).
(Get...wet)
(Yes).
(Get...wet)

Dream girl,
I've got to have your loving tonight
'cause without you, things just ain't right.
I wanna feel you by my side, girl.

Dream girl,
my thoughts are always about you.
I dream of all the things that we can do.
I wanna feel me inside you, girl.

You're in my dreams, girl.
Early in the morning,
you're my dream girl.
Late in the afternoon,
(you're my) dream girl.
When I'm in my bed sleeping,
you're my dream girl.
Listen to the beat.
(You're my...)

Dream girl,
I'm feeling your body close to mine.
Touching your skin makes me come alive.
Your body's sin makes me get aroused, girl.

Dream girl (dream girl),
it feels so good to be deep inside
(deep inside).
Making love with you is outta sight.
I've gotta have this every night, girl.

You're in my dreams, girl.
Early in the morning,
you're my dream girl.
Late in the afternoon,
(you're my) dream girl.
When I'm in my bed sleeping,
you're my dream girl.
Listen to the beat that goes boom.

(Yes).

(You're my dream girl).
(You're my girl).
(You're my dream girl).
(You're my girl).

Niña, yo sueño contigo
Yo necesito todo tu amor
No puedo resistir esta tentación
Yo quiero hacerte el amor

You're in my dreams, girl.
Early in the morning,
you're my dream girl.
Late in the afternoon,
(you're my) dream girl.
When I'm in my bed sleeping,
you're my dream girl.
Listen to the beat.
(You're my...)

(Dream girl).

I dream of having you.
Making love is what I'll do.
I need you by my side.
Only you can make it right.

You're in my dreams, girl.
Early in the morning,
you're my dream girl.
Late in the afternoon,
(you're my) dream girl.
When I'm in my bed sleeping,
you're my dream girl.
(Yes).

You're in my dreams, girl.
Early in the morning,
you're my dream girl.
Late in the afternoon,
(you're my) dream girl.
When I'm in my bed sleeping,
you're my dream girl.
Listen to the beat.
(You're my...)

...dreams, girl.
Early in the morning,
you're my dream girl.
Late in the afternoon,
dream girl.
Dream girl.
(Get wet).

Wisdom Calls

Wisdom Calls Aloud In The Streets
Hear Her Raising Her Voice In The Squares
How Long Will You Simple Ones
Love Your Evil Ways
Turn Around And Listen To My Rebuke
And I Will Pour Out My Spirit On You
Turn Around And Listen To My Rebuke
And I Will Let You Hear My Words
As The Moon Turns To Blood
So Many Will Understand
As The Seals Are Breaking One By One
Hear My Words - Hear The Wisdom Call
For You Wouldn't Hear When I Cried
And You Didn't React When I Reached Out My Hand To You

As You Let My Advice Drain Away
And You Didn't Accept My Rebuke
Therefore Shall I Smile When Your Day Has Come
And Despise You When Things That You Fear Are Near
When Your Fear Comes Like A Storm
There Will Be Anguish And Pain
Then They Will Call To Me But I Shall Not Answer
They Will Look For Me But Nothing Will Be Found
Since They Hated Knowledge And Did Not Choose To Fear The Lord
They Would Not Accept My Advice And Spurred My Rebuke
They Will Eat The Fruit Of Their Ways
And Be Filled With The Wine Of Their Schemes
But The One Who Listens To Me
He Will Live In Security
And Be Sheltered Against The Curse Of Death
Wisdom Calling Me

A Little Braver

With December comes the glimmer on her face
And I get a bit nervous
I get a bit nervous now
In the twelve months on I won’t make friends with change
When everyone's perfect
Can we start over again?

The playgrounds, they get rusty and your
Heart beats another ten thousand times before
I got the chance to say
I miss you

When it gets hard
I get a little stronger now
I get a little braver now
And when it gets dark
I get a little brighter now
I get a little wiser now
Before I give my heart away

Well we met each other at the house of runaways
I remember it perfectly, we were running on honesty
We moved together like a silver lock and key
But now that your lock has changed
I know I can't fit that way

The playgrounds, they get rusty and your
Heart beats another ten thousand times before
I got the chance to say
I want you

When it gets hard
I get a little stronger now
I get a little braver now
And when it gets dark
I get a little brighter now
I get a little wiser now
Before I give my heart away

When it gets hard
I get a little stronger now
I get a little braver now
And when it gets dark
I get a little brighter now
I get a little wiser now
Before I give my heart away

Verona [Vérone] (English)

The Prince: If you think you've seen it all
Then you had better think again
Don't care how many books you've read
Or how many lands you've seen

You're still not prepared for this
Don't be misled by pretty girls
Or flowered gardens everywhere
You'll soon see what I mean

The family called Capulet
Will not forgive and can't forget
And the family called Montague
Is as unforgiving too

This is Verona, you're in Verona
Where hatred is a way of life
And you can cut it with a knife
The hate keeps flowing in their veins
It is more powerful than chains
And they are scared to turn their backs
It isn't prudent to relax

Not in Verona, lovely Verona
The population is unique
Nobody turns the other cheek
When will they get it in their heads?
Their dreams will never leave their beds
Until there is some compromise
And peace illuminates the skies
In Verona

On the surface all is well
Heaven on earth it would appear
A second look and you'll see hell
It's no picnic to live here

Maybe the wound's too deep and raw
Archaic wounds take long to heal
And Montagues and Capulets
Seem to thrive on their ordeal

What tragic price must we pay
For bad blood to be washed away?
It's all too sad to contemplate
And it's all because of hate

In my Verona, perfect Verona
Two households with an ancient grudge
That all their praying cannot budge
An endless battle of two foes
And neither one can find repose
As families swim against the tide
Come meet some people who reside

In Verona, charming Verona
This one is called Benvolio
And that's his friend Mercutio
These two are always in accord
But here comes Tybalt with sword
But in this town I am the law
It's tough 'cause everyone's at war

Mercutio: He's mad, we are the law here
Benvolio: We are too wild to be controlled
Tybalt: I am too brave, I am too bold

The Prince: In Verona, come to Verona
The population is unique
Nobody turns the other cheek
The hate keeps flowing in our veins
Hate is more powerful than chains
No wonder danger's in the air
The enemy is everywhere
In Verona

Our National Pride

You ask me if I’ll feel pride when our country’s flag is raised
above the winner’s rostrum and our national anthem’s played;
while the winners stand with flowers in hand and medals ’round their necks,
we can all share in their glory but not their sponsors’ cheques.

And the press will call them heroes; we’ll puff out our collective chest
for living in a land that breeds the fastest and the best;
and while I dip my old Akubra to their talent and their skill,1
I can’t call them heroes and guess I never will.

But you asked me the question, so I’ll tell you no lies:
I’ll feel many, many things, but I won’t feel pride.

You see, last year, in Victoria, down a smoke-filled forest track,
some real heroes and real heroines tried to turn the bushfire back;2
all through the day they fought the blaze, exhaustion, heat, and fear,
ordinary Aussie men and women; CFS volunteers.3

But the fire turned like a cornered snake; rolled down the mountain side;
and in that choking, smoking, hell, five brave men died.
Not for medals, not for money, not for glory, not for fame.
And tell me who amongst you now remembers their names.

But I want to run to mountain top and shout their names out loud;
they made me feel Australian, and that made me feel proud.

Now the volunteers got lots of press who said the tragedy had shown,
Australians still would give their all to save their neighbors’ homes.
They got thanks and praise and eulogies for their true-blue Aussie pluck;4
they got everything but money to buy new and safer trucks.

For every gold Olympic medal that we won four years ago,5
someone worked out each one cost fifty million dollars or so.
Seems like a hefty price to pay just to flaunt our pedigree;
somewhere our values have gone to hell, but maybe it’s just me.

Black smoke for the funeral pyre, white ash for the shroud;
feel anger, grief, and pain, and lost, but feel proud.

Not for medals, not for money, not for glory, not for fame.
They don’t see themselves as heroes, and wouldn’t answer to the name.
It’s been much abused and overused but I use it nonetheless
for every man and woman in the Australian CFS.

No fist raised in fleeting triumph above the cheering crowd;
just years of quiet courage that should make us feel proud.
Yes, I want to run to mountain top and shout their names out loud;
they made me feel Australian, and that made me feel proud.
